Reducing Burdens on Primary and Secondary School Teachers

Beijing, May 5 — To effectively lighten the non-educational burdens on primary and secondary school teachers, the Central Education Working Group's Secretariat recently issued a notice to deploy a special rectification effort aimed at regulating social affairs entering campuses.

According to the notice, the scope and objectives of the special rectification are clearly defined. The focus is on addressing the arbitrary intrusion of activities and tasks unrelated to education and teaching into schools, as well as the formalism that emphasizes documentation over effectiveness in the process of social affairs entering campuses. The notice outlines four main tasks:
